The kitten, which was found on the concrete wall, made a full turnaround and won the heart of those who took him.
Little Wanderers NYC was contacted about a kitten found on a concrete wall in the Bronx, New York. He had a very rough shape and was crowing for help. Rescue volunteers raced to save him and rushed him to the vet. The volunteer said on Lovemeow.
“We named him Clayton (as he was discovered on Clay Avenue). The veterinary staff immediately realized that he had stabilized his body temperature, but this was dangerously low,”
LITTLE Wanderers NYC shared.
The kitten was estimated to be 8 months old, weighed very low, and had a severe upper respiratory tract infection. Despite being very frail, he was eager for attention and tried to lift his head for the pet.
“Clayton had hypothermia, a horrible upper respiratory infection, and tongue ulcers. He was on the verge of death, but came back to life within hours of being rescued.”
