Do Your Cats Itchy By Fleas? Do These To Solve It

Have your cats that scratching it all the time? If so, it can be a sign that the cats are attacked by fleas. Fleas love to be in a dark and damp place, like cats fur.

The fleas stuck in the fur can make your beloved cat feel itchy all times. Even though fleas are often in the cat’s fur, they cannot be considered trivial because cats will continue scratching their own.

Even cats can bite his own if it’s not resistant to itching. So, let’s do these 5 things to get rid of the fleas on the cat!

Bathing your cats regularly

The easiest and must-do if you want to eliminate fleas in the cat’s fur is to bathe the cat. Cats can indeed bathe themselves by licking his body, but still, it will not be as clean as when we bathe him. Just like us, a bathing cat will also be cleaning germs, bacteria, and fleas. You also can bathe a cat with a special anti-fleas shampoo.

Bath with saltwater

Well, in addition to a special shampoo, you can bathe the cat with salt water to remove the fleas. Prepare a bucket of warm water and add a tablespoon of powdered salt. Then, bathe the cat with saltwater. According to research, salt can eliminate fleas in cats, including eggs and ear vines.

Comb the cat feather regularly

In addition to bathing cats, we are also advised to comb the cat feathers regularly, especially the heavy-feathered cats. After bathing, dry the cat with a towel and a hairdryer. Then comb the cat’s fur gently. Combing the cat feathers regularly can prevent fleas from coming back.

Outdoors Activity Less

Do you often play outdoors with cats? If so, it could be that the fleas stuck in his fur when the Cats played outdoors. Thus, we can reduce the activity of cats outside. Instead, we can take it to play in the house. That way, our cats are also not dirty and can be avoided from fleas.

Use the Anti-fleas spray

Cat fleas can solve by spraying anti-fleas drugs on your cats. The anti-fleas drug spray can get at the Petshop. However, these sprays are usually only allowed to be used on cats over the age of One year. Make sure to spray them carefully so as not to get into its eyes or ears. If you feel fleas on cats more and more, you can take him to the vets.
